There is a sense of being drawn-in with this scent, inviting us on an inner journey, which offers necessary lessons for our next steps in growth. Often, growing means stretching beyond what we thought capable and exposing ourselves to what we might not be quite ready for. Patchouli helps us get grounded in our bodies and reconnect with our source of inner-knowing.

Rose Meditation

When the world gives us pain, Rose is the earth’s remedy. The walls we build to protect ourselves also close us off from the full experience of love and joy; Rose beckons us to let those walls fall away and embrace the fullness of what our life is bringing us.

The many layers of this scent also remind us of the unending quality of our journey. Have you ever seen a rose blooming? Sometimes the opening of the petals seems to never end, which is the way of our heart. Rose helps us to lift off the top layer to find the softness underneath. When we can soften in the moment, we are at peace. Rose helps bring us to this sense of peace and inspires us to breathe in again, opening our hearts just a little more.

Give yourself some time alone with Rose. Light a candle and place your hand on your heart. Then place a drop of diluted Rose in your hands, rub them together, and breathe in the heavenly aroma. Allow yourself to take several deep breaths and just notice what happens.

The scent of Neroli embodies the sweetness of possibilities. Its strong floral note ends with an almost tart or bitter dry-down, communicating the dualistic nature of life.

Derived from the flower of the bitter orange tree, Neroli holds the moment in time when this plant is its sweetest. Plants first produce flowers that eventually become fruit.

By picking these blossoms for distillation, we capture the energy of the flower. In some ways, one might say we’ve sustained the sweetness of the Citrus tree while keeping its bitter nature at bay.

Noted for its tendency to alleviate anxiety, depression, and stress, this scent is an excellent choice for promoting general emotional well-being.

Who wouldn’t feel great about the scent of orange groves in bloom? Who can worry while surrounded by this luscious bouquet?

We all have the capacity to be sweet or bitter in this world. Neroli provides us with an affinity for the acceptance of these tendencies, see them as beyond good and bad, and take charge of how we feel in this moment.
