It’s been in the stars for a while.
Ever since I met Emily Ruff, I knew I wanted to work with her. I first met her when she taught a class on Connecting with Nature with the Bridge of Tampa Bay in 2015—though I had known about her and her school for while.
Emily is the founder of the Florida School of Holistic Living, tucked away in Winter Park, Florida. They offer a rich selection of classes and events all geared toward the same theme of the first class I took with her: connecting with nature and using the medicine of the earth.
But this school is about much more than that.
It’s not just about empowering individuals; it’s about empowering the community as well. Every year, they sell out their annual event, the Florida Herbal Conference, which we’ve been blessed to teach at a few times.
“No one makes things happen like Emily Ruff,” Andy Firk once told me. I can’t agree more.
For example, Emily (and the community of herbalists and healers around her) created Orlando Grief Care Project in response to the shooting at the Pulse nightclub in 2016. If you know our story with the United Aromatherapy Effort, then you can probably tell that these are our people.
So, I’m thrilled to kick off our live classes this year with a weekend workshop at the Florida School of Holistic Living from March 30th-31st.
Is it time for you to learn how to use essential oils safely and effectively at home?
This new class is designed to help you become more confident in using essential oils for preventing illness, aiding in mental health, and creating a happy, healthy environment.
12 CEUs are available for massage therapists!
This will be a magical weekend of feeding our heads, healing our hearts, finding new friends, and learning to use good scents with good sense.
I can’t wait to spend the weekend with Emily, her team, and the wonderful group that our two schools can bring together.
Space is limited for this workshop, so make sure you register soon. Early-bird pricing is $275 before March 15th. Pricing includes all materials. Just bring yourself, a notepad, an open mind, and a willing heart.
Hope to see you there! Get your seat today.
